Private classes
I studied Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE) at Oxford and have 7 years of tutoring experience. I'm driven by curiosity and fascinated by lots of different fields. I've worked in finance, done research at the Uehiro Centre for Practical Ethics (now the Uehiro Oxford Institute) and sat on the leadership team of Oxford's oldest student magazine. As a child, I was a competitive climber. That curiosity shapes how I teach: I make every lesson come alive by tying theoretical concepts back to how they work in real life. Nothing beats the satisfaction of watching a student achieve the grades they were aiming for or get into the university of their dreams.
I start from the mark scheme and teach students how the examiner thinks. I also tie the subject to something they enjoy so they see its beauty. The grades follow: one student went from a C to an A in three months.
Many students know the content but freeze when a question looks unfamiliar. We practise breaking those questions down step by step, so they walk into the exam with a method they trust rather than hoping inspiration strikes.

Meet your tutor first and see if it feels right. Elena will help you choose the support that suits your child best, 1-to-1 tutoring, live classes, or both.
I'm an avid reader, especially fiction.
I'm also passionate about adventure sports: I used to be a competitive climber, and I've been skiing since I could walk. More casually, I play the piano and love going on long walks with my friends.
One student never imagined she could study Economics at university. We worked on her self-belief alongside the content, week by week. In the end, she got an offer from Oxford. Beyond the offer, she became an assertive, confident person.
Studia’s live classes are expert-led, small-group sessions that combine the structure of tutoring with the energy of a classroom, without leaving home.
Helps child build sustainable learning habits.
Students aren’t passive listeners. They ask questions, solve problems live, and engage with peers.
Missed a session? Every class is recorded so your child can rewatch tricky topics at their own pace.
