Master's-level Biology specialist, Oxford University
Studying Biology at Oxford University (4th year), focusing my research on antibiotic resistance.
Every student is different, therefore I tailor my lessons. I’m patient, so students feel comfortable asking questions and grow confident in their understanding, gaining academic skills to apply to revision and exams.
Many students revise by memorising, then struggle with application and long-answer questions. I teach active recall, break longer questions down step by step and align lessons exactly to specific exam boards, building skills that are crucial as they progress through education.

Meet your tutor first and see if it feels right. Mia will help you choose the support that suits your child best, 1-to-1 tutoring, live classes, or both.
I’m easy to talk to, so never be afraid to ask me anything!
Outside of tutoring, you’ll find me on the river as I was Women's captain of my Oxford College Boat Club. I’m also completing my master's on specific genetic mutations causing antibiotic resistance, very exciting!
Seeing my students grow in confidence is amazing. Last summer, a student called to say she’d got all 9s, and I saw the difference I’d made! Recently, after 4 lessons, another went from a 4 in her Chemistry mock to a 9 and top of her class!
