Master's in Political Thought and Intellectual History, Cambridge University
With a Master's in Politics and History from Cambridge, I combine depth with practical teaching.
Students learn the details and expectations of exam technique, giving them the skills to transform their knowledge into a top level exam answer.
Students may struggle with some of the more demanding concepts that are only half-explained in the specifications and in school. I use my academic background to equip students with greater depth than the specification expects, to easily overcome this complexity.

I'm a big film fan, always watching new films and logging everything as I go.
I also enjoy learning new languages (currently on 5 and a half), playing piano, watching football, and taking care of Kasper, my cute little grey cat.
One of my tutees was a bright French A Level student whose reading and writing were at a very good level, but he was shy and found conversational French difficult. After chatting and doing mock oral exams he improved by 2 entire grades!
